Our Mission Families Overseas

The Hendrix Family

IMG_BEFBA0D43A1F-1.jpeg

We are moving into the Nation of Georgia to continue a relatively new work for the Church of the Nazarene. They will be working with local pastors to develop the district structure, give support to local leadership and help facilitate the growth of the Church in Georgia. They will also be overseeing a non-profit group that works in orphanages and elder-care facilities. Please pray with the Hendrix family as God opens up new opportunities to learn, grow and rely on His faithfulness.

Ben and Hannah Ponder

Hello! We are Ben & Hannah Ponder. We have been married since the Summer of 2018 and we are excited about what God is calling us to in Serbia. Since our first date, we knew that God was calling us to this kind of work and the time has come for us to go together into full-time missionary service in Serbia.

Hannah grew up in Texas and graduated from Southern Nazarene University in 2012. Ben grew up in many places but now calls Kentucky home and he graduated from Trevecca Nazarene University in 2011.

Ben has been a volunteer missionary for 2 years in Croatia where he served the Church of the Nazarene through English teaching, music teaching, working in Refugee centers and working with Roma people there.

Hannah has extensive professional experience working with children, especially children with special needs. She has not been a missionary yet, but is looking forward to working with children who are in need of education and life skills.

Together, we will be using our gifts and experience as a way to foster intentional relationships with refugees that point to God's love and a relationship with Jesus.
